A place to belong. Opportunities to explore. Experiences to remember.
Young people registered across
our youth provision.
Our youth programme gives young people opportunities to learn, have fun, gain volunteering experience and spend time with friends in a safe and welcoming environment.

Our Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme gives young people the chance to enjoy fun, active and enriching experiences during the school holidays.
In our latest programme, 68 young people took part across 24 days of activities, including day trips, arts and crafts, gardening, canal boat trips, bowling, cinema visits, trampoline parks, Padel taster sessions, birds of prey and live animal experiences through Zoolab.
The programme gives young people the opportunity to try things they may not have experienced before, make friends and create memories together.

HAF Schemes

Our Sunday Club runs throughout the year for young people aged 6–14, combining learning, creativity and physical activity.
Sessions provide Numeracy and Literacy support, alongside arts and crafts, sports and exercise and other wellbeing activities.
The aim is to create a positive environment where young people can develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy learning outside the classroom.

Youth Club
Our weekly Youth Club provides a regular space for teenagers to meet up with friends, get involved and try something different.
With 62 young people registered, Tuesday evening sessions include workshops, sports, baking, pool and outdoor activities, including cycling.
It’s a place to relax, have fun and take part in activities shaped around what young people enjoy.

Cycling Hub
Our new Cycling Hub is helping young people and adults get more involved in cycling. The programme will provide opportunities to borrow bikes, learn basic bike maintenance and build confidence in riding, helping people become more active while developing practical skills.

Game, Set & Match
Our Game, Set & Match tennis programme is introducing children to the sport through fun, accessible coaching sessions.
So far, 230 children from our youth activities and from our local schools including Eastwood, East Morton and Parkwood have taken part in taster sessions, combining coaching, practice and short games. The programme gives children the opportunity to try a new sport, develop skills and discover the enjoyment of being active and competing.
